Sunanda Pushkar Murder Case, Son Being Questioned

Sunanda Pushkar’s son Shiv Menon, is being questioned by Delhi police here in connection with her alleged murder. He was not questioned earlier as he was out of India.

Menon reached the Vasant Vihar police station, also the office of the Special Investigation Team (SIT), around 1:15 pm, according to IANS news agency. Earlier, Menon interacted with SIT members, who have asked him to join the probe.

Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi on Wednesday said that Menon has reached Delhi from Dubai and has been asked to join the probe as soon as possible.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, his staff members and close friends were among those quizzed by the Delhi Police.

Fifty-two-year-old Sunanda was found dead in her suite at a five-star hotel in south Delhi on the night of January 17, 2014. A murder case was registered against unknown people on January 1, 2015.
