John Abraham recently had a unique experience when he met a geophysicist in a lounge at the Delhi airport, reports Mumbai Mirror. This incident happened when a passenger, a geophysicist, who was travelling to Dehradun, was waiting in the lounge, immersed in his papers, and John tapped his shoulder and very politely asked if he could join him, the report stated.
The two got talking, with John talking animatedly about Mumbai and its magic. It was then that he asked the geophysicist if he recognised him, or had watched him on TV. When the passenger answered in negative, John smiled and offered to click a selfie, the report further stated. “Because, Sir, I rarely come across such people who do not make me feel sublime,” said John to the passenger.
John, who made a smashing debut with Pooja Bhatt’s film Jism impressed everyone with his acting skills. But not many know that John’s voice was dubbed by another actor in his first film. He was also approached by Rajiv Rai for the lead role in Asambhav (2004) which eventually went to Arjun Rampal. John was also the original choice to play the role of Rohan in Nazar (2005) but he turned it down. John Abraham was supposed to make his debut in Bollywood with Is Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon opposite Akanksha Malhotra, directed by Rahul Rawail. However, the film was shelved after it was 75 percent complete.
