Pakistan Refuses India’s Claim, Says Terrorist Naved Is Not Pakistani

Hours after Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday in Parliament confirmed that terrorist Naved is from Pakistan, Islamabad refuted his claims.

Pakistan’s National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) clarified that the suspect is not a citizen of their country. According to official sources, suspect Usman Khan alias Muhammad Naved is not a Pakistani as his information was not found in the NADRA record. NADRA reported that images shown by Indian media do not match any Pakistani citizen.

Mohammed Naved, the terrorist captured on Wednesday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur, entered the state over a month and half ago during the holy period of Ramzan. During his interrogation Naved confessed that he is from Faisalabad in Pakistan.

Two Border Security Force jawans and a militant were killed and eight others injured when militants on Wednesday attacked a convoy of the border guarding force on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Udhampur district.
