Narendra Modi Conveyed Wishes To SAARC Leaders Including Nawaz Sharif Before World Cup 2015

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday conveyed his best wishes to the leaders of the SAARC Nations to wish their teams good luck for the ICC World Cup 2015 that starts from Saturday.

The Prime Minister also spoke to his SAARC counterparts Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Maithripala Sirisena, President of Sri Lanka, and Ashraf Ghani, President of Afghanistan, wishing them all the very best in their respective countries’ endeavour in the tournament.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted today that he spoke to his Pakistan counter-part Nawaz Sharif and exchanged good wishes ahead of the high-profile cricket tournament. Both India and Pakistan face off in what is expected to be a fiery encounter on Sunday in the teams’ first match in the World Cup.
