After suffering a lot of controversies regarding the ban of the movie, the Shahid Kapoor starrer flick is finally cleared by High Court with just one cut and a change of disclaimer. The Bombay High Court did not consider justification in deleting the name of Punjab from the film. Central Board of Film Certification to issue A certificate to the film and it will hence release on Friday.
The Board had cleared the film with 13 cuts under the ‘A’ category, Its chairman Pahlaj Nihalani said on Sunday. The film is based on what’s happening in Punjab and how the youth is getting affected by it. Udta Punjab is a comment on such conditions that are taking a toll on today’s youngsters. The audiences are excited to go watch the much talked about film.
