‘Amityville Horror’ House is on sale again

The infamous haunted house, 108 Ocean House in Amityville, New York is on sale again in the mamityville-ghost-boy-pic-hq-lutz-hauntingarket. The house being the most famous haunted place has been mentioned in the book and movie ‘The Amityville Horrors‘ and then in the movie ‘Conjuring 2‘. The owners have put it back on market. Odalys Fragoso bought the house with her husband Jose Fragoso back in 2001 and now wants to sell it for reasons not being ghostly but private matters. The house is being sold for a decreased price of $850,000 in the market. The house is of 3600 sq feet and has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.

There is a haunted history attached to the house. In 1974, police discovered the bodies of the 6
mdefeoembers of the DeFoe family; father, mother and 4 of the 5 kids of the DeFoe family killed face down in their beds. Ronald DeFoe claimed he found them dead and wasn’t home during the murders but he was found guilty after a lengthy trial and was given life sentence. But Forensics felt the bodies were never moved and there was no sign of struggle by the victims. The shots from the rifle were also never heard.

In 1975, the Lutz family moved into the DeFoe home. From the very first night they felt strange sensations. George was always feeling cold and their daughter began spending all her time in her room playing with an imaginary friend who was only visible to her. Foul odors and black stains started happening. George woke up one night and saw his wife levitating off the bed. After 28 days from shifting, the family fled the house taking only a few belongings with them.

Later Ed and Lorraine Warren were called in by a news reporter to investigate on the house. During the investigation, Ed was physically pushed to the floor while performing some religious incantations and Lorraine felt some demonic presence. They found out that the land was earlier used by John Ketchum, aamityvilleheader black magician who was buried under the property. The Shinicock Indians also had an enclosure there to house the sick and the mad who were left to die there. The Warrens believe these are the reasons to create negative energy in the house and thus calling for demonic spirits.

There have been no reports of haunted activities since then. The house was sold for $950,000 in 2010 and now its on sale again.
